Hey i got a macbook pro 2011 but upgraded with 2.9ghz and intel core i7 and version 10.9.1, will days standalone work on mac, ik theres bootcamp but i use my mac for school work and i don't want to risk losing my things thanks;) Don't think DayZ will ever come on OSX platform.
